  • Gulliver's Travels [Blu-ray 3D]
Gulliver's Travels is so marginal as suggested by the trailer, is a lukewarm comedy funny, irreverent, sometimes crude and starring Jack Black, who takes some liberties with giant Jonathan Swift's classic tale of the land of Lilliput and its tiny inhabitants.Mailroom Lemuel Gulliver loser (Jack Black) is stuck in an endless work and to live a life without release to the promotion of a colleague led him to speak and act. During a trip to the Bermuda Triangle can not be given by crushing Darcy Silverman (Amanda Peet) and Gulliver had envisioned, the trip promises to bring his career in a new direction, and eventually transferred him to a kingdom known as Lilliput, which is populated by miniature people. After initially being captured and imprisoned in a dungeon, Gulliver won the hearts of the people running their Lilliputian Princess (Emily Blunt) from being kidnapped and save their king (Billy Connolly) in a fire in a very unorthodox and uncomfortable and he finds himself quickly in a position of enormous influence. The problem is that Gulliver is totally unprepared and unqualified for his new leadership roles, both personally and professionally, and his ineptitude puts all of Lilliput and in extreme danger. Grade-school humor abounds in this film quite insane, something Jack Black always excels, but viewers will find that the giggles and the message about the power to believe in themselves disappear just as fast as the credits roll.
